Locum - Physician - Radiology - Diagnostic Kittanning, PA

Join Our Team as a Locum- Physician- Radiology- Diagnostic in Kittanning, PAEmbark on a rewarding locum opportunity as a Physician specializing in Diagnostic Radiology, where your expertise will profoundly impact patient care through cutting-edge imaging technology. • Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including XR, CT, MR, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine.
• Manage subspecialty case mixes such as ER, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, SMK, Neuro, Peds, and Mammography.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures including biopsies (Thyroid, Lung, Liver, Bone, Renal, CT and US-guided), drainages (Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Abscess Drainages, Chest Tube, Cysts), Lumbar Punctures, Joint Injections, and Arthrograms.
• Maintain a high standard of accuracy and efficiency, with daily volume expectations of 90-100 cases and WRVUs of 60-70 per shift.

Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid medical license to practice in Pennsylvania.
• Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Proven experience in onsite diagnostic imaging procedures and subspecialty case management.
• Strong technical proficiency with advanced imaging modalities.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in IR procedures and biopsies.
• Ability to interpret complex diagnostic images across multiple modalities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Completion of aRadiology residency program.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a hospital or radiology imaging center.

• Availability to start from April 28, 2026.
• Must have or be eligible for appropriate malpractice insurance, including coverage for holiday and overtime shifts.
• Willingness to adhere to all applicable licensing, certification, and travel reimbursement policies.
