Be part of a reputable organization committed to excellence and veteran care.OverviewWe are seeking experienced General Medicine Providers to perform non-treatment, interview-based assessments for Veterans on a PRN basis. This position involves conducting one-time exams focused on functional assessments, with minimal physical testing, including range of motion and muscle strength evaluations. Candidates must have their own office setup and be available to work at designated Virginia locations. This opportunity offers competitive pay and flexible hours, ideal for providers seeking ongoing supplemental income while contributing to veteran healthcare.Required Skills

• Valid medical license in Virginia or eligible for licensure
• Background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine
• Experience with Compensation & Pension exams or assessment-based evaluations
• Strong communication skills for interview-based assessments
• Ability to perform physical evaluations, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
• Excellent organizational skills for report submission and documentation

Nice to Have Skills

• Prior experience working with veterans or in a government healthcare setting
• Familiarity with VA-specific assessment protocols
• Certification in relevant medical specialties or assessments
• Experience with telehealth or remote assessments

Preferred Education and Experience

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in general medicine or related fields
• Prior involvement in assessments or evaluations for compensation and pension purposes

Other Requirements

• Own office location with necessary equipment
• Must pass credentialing and onboarding promptly
• Ability to work 4- or 8-hour shifts at scheduled locations
• Availability to complete administrative follow-up tasks, including report writing and addendums
• Willingness to work locally within Virginia, with travel included in rates
• No reimbursement for certifications or portal training prior to engagement
