• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
• Proven experience in general medicine or related fields
• Strong clinical assessment skills, including physical exams and medical history review
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Compliance with all credentialing and certification requirements

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with compensation and pension exams or military healthcare settings
• Certification in specific areas such as family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedics
• Prior work in telehealth or remote assessment environments
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Nursing (e.g., MSN or DNP)
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner
• Prior experience in outpatient or primary care settings
• Familiarity with administrative procedures related to healthcare assessments

Other Requirements:

• Must have own office space suitable for conducting patient assessments
• Willingness to work on a PRN basis with flexible scheduling (½ or full-day shifts)
• Ability to travel within designated geographic areas including Coeur D'alene, Mountain Home, Grangeville, Moscow, and Sandpoint as needed
• No prescribing or treatment responsibilities required, focusing solely on assessments and documentation
• Reliable internet and access to necessary equipment for virtual or administrative tasks when applicable
