• Active Nurse Practitioner license with current certification
• Proven experience in general medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic surgery
• Ability to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments
• Strong interview and physical assessment skills—including range of motion and muscle strength testing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience with VA or veterans health programs
• Comfortable with administrative tasks such as report writing and addendums
• Knowledge of government or military health assessment protocols
• Experience with telehealth or remote assessments

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Minimum of 2 years relevant clinical experience in general or internal medicine
• Experience conducting assessments or exams for compensation and pension purposes is highly desirable

Other Requirements:

• Must reside within the specified radius for each designated location
• Ability to work on a PRN basis, flexible half-day or full-day assignments
• Willingness to complete quick credentialing and onboarding processes
• No prescribing or treatment responsibilities; focus solely on evaluations and assessments
• Possession of valid state licensure and certifications
• Local candidates preferred; travel included within rates
