Locum- Physician- Radiology- InterventionalGrass Valley, CAEmbark on a rewarding locum opportunity as a Radiologist specializing in Interventional procedures, providing critical imaging services at a well-established acute care hospital. • Valid medical license and board certification in Radiology
• Proficiency in interventional radiology procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, biopsies, drains, and abscess drainage
• Experience with acute care imaging, including stroke-related CTs, ED, and ICU studies
• Ability to perform procedures such as lumbar punctures, barium studies, and US/CT biopsies
• Strong knowledge of EMR systems, preferably Cerner
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with medical staff

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in a general acute care hospital setting
• Experience with breast biopsies and advanced IR procedures
• Familiarity with hospital-based workflows and multidisciplinary teams
• Bilingual abilities or additional language skills are a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Board-certified radiologist with active CA medical license
• Minimum of 2 years' post-residency experience in a hospital setting, with demonstrated procedural skills in interventional radiology
• Proven track record in acute care settings, including stroke imaging and emergent procedures

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work scheduled shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, including potential coverage from May 25-29 and ongoing
• Ability to perform procedures requiring contrast imaging and emergency interventions
• Willingness to travel locally (no flights required) and stay in preferred accommodations
• Credentialing with applicable facilities and timely billing enrollment
• Must meet all hospital credentialing and compliance standards
