Locum - Physician - Radiology - Interventional Lansing, MI

Join Our Team as a Locum Interventional Radiologist in Lansing, MI – Exciting Opportunity!Are you a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic hospital setting? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled physician to provide exceptional IR services at UMH Sparrow Lansing Main Hospital. This full-time locum role offers the chance to work in a reputable Level I Trauma Center, supporting a talented team of physicians and advanced practice providers, while enjoying flexible scheduling arrangements.In this vital role, you will perform a variety of interventional procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and UFE, with additional opportunities in orthopedics, gynecology, and urology cases. The schedule features a day-shift with Q3 call coverage, sharing responsibility with two other interventional radiologists and support staff, ensuring comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.The ideal candidate will possess strong procedural skills, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates comfortable with travel for extended coverage periods (3+ weeks per month) are encouraged to apply.Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Interventional Radiology
• Medical license and credentials in good standing
• Proven proficiency in angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, biopsy, thrombolysis, and UFE procedures
• Excellent communication and patient management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to handle diverse case types, including ortho, gyn, and urology procedures

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Level I trauma settings
• Familiarity with EMR systems (specific system not specified)
• Additional procedural expertise in related specialties

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 3 years of post-residency IR practice experience
• Prior locum or hospital-based IR experience is advantageous

• Willingness to travel and accommodate extended coverage periods
• Fast credentialing process (approximately 90 days, with options for expedited onboarding)
• Mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rate
• Lodging provided on-site if necessary
• Ability to start promptly and commit to ongoing availability
