Vascular Surgeon (Locum) – Surgery – Colorado Springs, COAre you a skilled vascular surgeon seeking a flexible locum opportunity?   • Hours/week: Approximately 10-12 days per month

  • License/Certs: Active medical license in Colorado, Board Certified/Eligible in Surgery and Vascular Surgery
  • Experience: Proven expertise in abdominal open/endovascular procedures

What You’ll Do
  • Provide vascular surgical care, including abdominal open and endovascular procedures
  • Manage trauma cases related to vascular injuries, including blunt and other trauma
  • Participate in 24-hour call coverage, assisting with surgical treatments as needed
  • Collaborate with hospital staff in a trauma Level II setting overseeing adult and geriatric patients
  • Document patient care accurately within the EMR system (EPIC support)
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and standards of care
  • Maintain high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital environment
What You NeedRequired:
  • Active Colorado medical license in good standing
  • Certification or eligibility in Surgery and Vascular Surgery
  • Experience with abdominal open/endovascular procedures
  • Ability to commit to scheduled call shifts and dates listed
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR system (or ability to learn quickly)
Preferred:
  • Previous experience working in trauma settings
  • Knowledge of hospital protocols and trauma procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
