As a vital part of our team, you will conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments, helping serve our nation's Veterans. This role offers flexibility with opportunities to work from your own office locations, providing a rewarding experience that combines professional development with meaningful service.Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Active medical license in Texas or willingness to obtain state licensure
• Proven experience in general medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic surgery
• Strong interviewing and physical assessment skills, including range of motion testing and muscle strength evaluation
• Ability to perform interview-based exams with minimal physical intervention
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Familiarity with Medicare and veteran health exam requirements preferred

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience conducting Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams or separation health assessments
• Background in veteran healthcare or government contract roles
• Certifications specific to military or veteran health evaluations
• Experience with medical reporting, addendums, and diagnostic reading

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical license in Texas or eligible for licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in general/internal medicine or related fields
• Past experience performing C&P exams or similar assessments is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Candidates must have own office setup for conducting exams (location flexibility within Houston preferred)
• Willingness to work on a PRN schedule, including half-day (4-hour) or full-day (8-hour) shifts
• Ability to complete exams, submit reports, and perform follow-up administrative tasks within designated rate structure
• Local candidates only, with travel included in rates
• Availability to start by March 6, 2026

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly rate of $624.00 ($800 flat rate for half-day exams, $1,600 for full days)
