As a Locum Physician, you will conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across Nevada, supporting those who have served our nation. This role offers flexible scheduling with the opportunity to work independently at your own office location, making a meaningful impact while maintaining your work-life balance.Required Skills:

• Valid and active medical license in Nevada
• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Orthopedic Surgery
• Proven experience in general medicine, with familiarity in compensation and pension assessments preferred
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to conduct interview-based exams with some physical assessments
• Capable of managing documentation promptly and accurately

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in military or veteran healthcare settings
• Knowledge of VA examination procedures and requirements
• Familiarity with medical reporting and documentation software
• Certification in relevant medical specialties or additional credentials related to veteran assessments

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited university
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in general medicine
• Previous experience with compensation and pension examinations is advantageous but not mandatory

Other Requirements:

• Own a fully equipped medical office location within the specified radius of Nevada cities
• Willingness to perform one-time non-treatment exams with no prescribing or treatment responsibilities
• Availability for PRN assignments on an ongoing basis, with flexible half-day or full-day shifts
• Travel and related expenses are included within the rate
• Quick credentialing and onboarding process
