Join Our Team as a Locum Physician Maternal Fetal Medicine in Mechanicsville, VAEmbark on a rewarding opportunity to provide expert maternal-fetal care in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Locum Physician specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to high-risk pregnancies, supporting a dedicated team across multiple facilities. This position offers flexible coverage options, professional growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient lives.Required Skills:

Board-certified or eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Proven expertise in high-risk obstetric care
Proficiency in procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and cerclage
Experience with EMR systems, preferably EPIC
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers
Additional ultrasound certification
Familiarity with high-volume obstetric practice environments

Preferred Education and Experience:

Medical degree from an accredited institution
Completion of a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship
At least 2 years of clinical practice in maternal-fetal medicine
Active medical license in Virginia or the ability to obtain it

Other Requirements:

Credentialing process estimated at 90 days
Ability to work at multiple site locations with rotating support staff
Availability to cover scheduled dates, including 05/08-05/15, 05/16-05/22, and 05/26-05/31
Travel and accommodation reimbursements as applicable
