Locum - Physician - Radiology The Villages, FL

Join Our Team as a Locum- Physician- Radiology in The Villages, FLAre you an experienced radiologist seeking a dynamic locum opportunity in the vibrant community of The Villages, FL? We are looking for a highly skilled physician to provide exceptional radiology services during a flexible 7-on/7-off schedule. This role offers a competitive hourly pay rate and the chance to make a meaningful impact in patient care while enjoying the lifestyle amenities of one of Florida’s most desirable locations.Responsibilities include interpreting CT perfusion, MRI Spine, and a diverse range of subspecialty cases including MSK, Mammo Screens, Neuro, and Diagnostic Mammo. You will utilize remote settings with modalities such as XR, CT, MR, and US, handling a daily volume of approximately 90-100 cases and generating 60-70 wRVUs per shift.Key Skills Required:

• Proven expertise in radiology interpretation, particularly in CT perfusion and MRI Spine
• Ability to read and analyze diverse imaging modalities remotely
• Strong knowledge of subspecialty areas including MSK, Mammo, Neuro, and Diagnostic Mammo
• Excellent diagnostic skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication abilities and collaborative mindset
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with remote radiology practice management software
• Prior locum or temporary radiology assignments
• Subspecialty board certification in Neuro, MSK, or Mammo

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of radiology residency and fellowship if applicable
• Minimum of 3 years of post-residency radiology experience, with proficiency in advanced imaging techniques

Other Requirements:

• Active FL medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent
• Reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work
• Willingness to adhere to all legal, licensure, and credentialing requirements
• Travel and licensing reimbursements where applicable
