Locum - Physician - Radiology The Villages, FL

We are seeking a highly skilled locum physician to provide exceptional radiology services at The Villages, FL. This position offers a unique chance to work with a reputable healthcare network, utilizing your diagnostic skills to improve patient care from the comfort of your own workspace.In this role, you will interpret a diverse array of imaging studies, including CT, MRI, US, and XR, with a focus on subspecialties such as Musculoskeletal (MSK), Mammography, Neuro, and Diagnostic Mammography. You will work remotely in a 7on/7off schedule, enabling work-life balance while delivering high-quality diagnostics. Your expertise will directly contribute to timely diagnoses and patient outcomes, making a real difference in our community’s health.Required Skills:

• Board-certified or eligible in Radiology
• Proficiency in reading CT perfusion and MRI Spine studies
• Experience with XR, CT, MR, US modalities
• Strong knowledge of subspecialty imaging including MSK, Mammo, Neuro
• Ability to interpret complex diagnostics accurately and efficiently
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with healthcare teams
• Current medical licensure in Florida or ability to obtain it promptly

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in remote radiology settings
• Familiarity with teleradiology software and PACS systems
• Prior experience in a locum or flexible scheduling role
• Additional certification in advanced imaging techniques

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of radiology residency
• Minimum of 2 years post-residency experience in diagnostic radiology
• Prior experience reading CT perfusion and MRI Spine is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Active Florida medical license or ability to secure one swiftly
• Certification in Radiology and applicable state and federal credentials
• Must be comfortable working remotely and independently
• Willingness to work 7 consecutive days on, 7 days off schedule
• Travel reimbursements and certification renewals covered as applicable
