LOCUM TO PERM – Otolaryngologist (ENT) ($316/hour)Des Moines, Iowa Start Date: ASAP Inpatient & Clinic Coverage | Call Included

365 Healthcare is seeking a LOCUM TO PERM Otolaryngologist (ENT) to provide inpatient and clinic ENT coverage in Des Moines, Iowa. This opportunity includes weekday clinic coverage with inpatient hospital responsibilities and participation in the call schedule, and offers a competitive hourly rate of $316/hour, along with lodging and travel coverage, rental car or mileage reimbursement, and malpractice insurance included.

Schedule Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

36 patient contact hours per week (1.0 FTE)

Clinic coverage during weekdays

Procedure / OR days scheduled as availability allows

On-call coverage included in the call rotation

Weekend coverage as needed

Practice Details Inpatient and clinic-based ENT practice

Hospital coverage in Des Moines; clinic coverage in Clive

Call shifts for hospital coverage; hourly shifts for clinic

Inpatient responsibilities included

Physician-to-nurse ratio: 1:1

Ancillary staff per provider: 1:1

Exam rooms per provider: 2–3

All ENT services provided within the practice

Medical imaging available in the building

Lab and pharmacy services available in the building

Clinic daily volume: 30+ patients

Appointment length: 15 minutes

Patient population serves Central Iowa, including Boone County, Indianola, and Pleasant Hill

Teaching opportunities available

EMR: Epic

Clinical Responsibilities Outpatient ENT clinic visits

Inpatient ENT coverage and consultations

Procedures and surgical cases as scheduled

Participation in call coverage

Collaboration with nursing and ancillary staff

Qualifications Board Certified in Otolaryngology – Required

Active Iowa license or active IMLC LOQ – Required

Full-time availability – Required

Prior ENT experience – Required

Clean malpractice history and background

NPDB self-query required at time of presentation
