We operate manufacturing facilities throughout the United States. We have an immediate opening, seeking full-time Log Lift Operator at our facility in Mill Creek, West Virginia. This is a great opportunity that can provide exciting growth within the organization.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensures safety protocol and policies are adhered to - safety-minded
  • Material Handling: Safely operate Log Lift to unload incoming log trucks, move logs, and feed them to the sawmill's log deck.
  • Sorting & Stacking: Identify log species and organize them for efficient processing; stack logs in the yard.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily checks, keep equipment clean, and conduct minor maintenance.
  • Safety & Coordination: Adhere to strict safety rules, communicate with truck drivers, and work with the log yard team.
  • Quality Control: Identify and correct quality issues in log placement and handling

Basic Qualifications:

  • Safety-conscious attitude and experience.
  • Must possess skills, knowledge, and experience to operate a forklift
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to be flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Must work well as a team member.
  • Highly organized and proven communication skills.
  • Must have excellent attendance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Forklift experience and or forklift safety certification
  • 3 to 5 years' experience operating larger lift Trucks
  • Forklift certification is preferred
