Position Summary

Fisher's Technology is seeking a qualified individual to fill the Logistics and Delivery Manager position. This role is responsible for leading daily logistics and delivery operations, ensuring the timely and efficient transportation of copiers, printers and office technology. This is a "working supervisor" role that requires hands-on involvement in planning, team leadership, process execution, and customer service. The ideal candidate will lead by example, maintain high operational standards, and drive continuous improvement in logistics and delivery performance.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee delivery schedules for copiers, printers, and related office technology to ensure on-time, accurate fulfillment.
  • Ensure equipment moves efficiently from warehouse staging through final customer delivery, in alignment with Fisher's operational standards and performance benchmarks.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and assembly supervisors to maintain smooth equipment flow and readiness for scheduled delivery commitments.
  • Monitor inventory transfers, documentation accuracy, and tracking systems to ensure data integrity and operational visibility.
  • Lead, train, and develop delivery drivers and logistics personnel, setting clear performance expectations and holding team members accountable.
  • Conduct regular coaching and training focused on safe handling, professional customer interaction, and process adherence.
  • Oversee fleet operations, including vehicle condition, preventive maintenance, regulatory compliance, and safety standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated delivery issues, ensuring swift, professional resolution and clear communication with internal teams and customers.
  • Analyze delivery performance metrics, conduct quality audits, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks or disruptions to delivery schedules.
  • Support recruiting, hiring, and workforce development in coordination with the Distribution Center Manager.
  • Review and approve timecards for assigned team members.
  • Foster a culture centered on accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in logistics, delivery or operational management.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Excellent problem solving, decision making and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficient with logistics software, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs. regularly and perform hands on delivery work as needed.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for training or to support deliveries.
