Job: Logistics- Shipping and Receiving Clerk Duration: 4 Months  Shift: Mon-Fri 8:30 am- 5 pm: Location: Linden, NJ 07036 The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for performing any or all tasks associated with the receiving, pick, pack and shipping operations of the regional client supply fulfillment center. These responsibilities include but are not limited to receiving, pallet and box breakdown (with cutting tools), material put away into storage or flow racks, box build, initiating orders on the line, pre-packaging and counting, material transfers, physical inventory, item picking and proper placement, packing with air pillows and tape guns, shipping and affixing labels, pallet preparation, loading trucks and filling/confirming orders. Other duties may include offline filling of orders, labeling, safe operation of material handling equipment such as forklift or pallet jacks, moving/lifting and general cleanup.RESPONSIBILITIES Unload truck • Receives, inspects, verifies, processes and routes all materials into the facility and enters the receipts in the Materials Management software system.• Notifies the Warehouse Supervisor of any discrepancies of materials versus shipping documentation.• Prepares shipments, including documentation, for outbound shipments.• Manages the Returned Goods process according to the Returned Goods SOP.• Delivers stock to the appropriate staging area for departments.• Puts warehoused items in the designated storage areas and rotate stock according to receipt date and expiration dates to ensure proper stock rotation and use prior to expiration.• Identifies any short dated materials upon receipt (less than 30 days of shelf life) and reports to the Warehouse Supervisor to determine any possible actions that may need taken.• Assists in cycle count and full physical inventory.• Complies with all applicable and current Materials and Services Management, Human Resources, Employee Health and Safety, Compliance, OSHA, CLIA, etc. policies and procedures.• Analyzes current procedures in place and makes recommendations for process improvements to the Warehouse Supervisor.• Assists in picking, packing and delivery of both internal and external orders as needed.• Assists in prepacking product in smaller packaging that requires breakdown from bulk packaging.• Assists in record storage and retrieval process as needed.• Performs other duties as required.Other Information• N/ACOMPETENCIES Job Knowledge• High quality of work• Motivations/initiative• Organization skills• Good record keeping skills• Judgment/problem solving• Cooperation/teamwork• Able to speak, read and write in English• Ability to follow oral and written instructions• Ability to perform job functions in a safe manner.• Ability to maintain regular attendance to ensure efficient and effective performance of job duties• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and co-workersSKILLS Ability to operate a computer, hand cart, pallet jack, flatbed, packing tape gun, and other materials and equipment necessary to complete job tasks.• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment Ability to operate materials handling equipment as needed (fork lift, pallet jack, etc.) Electric walkie stacker and pallet jack documented certification a plus.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE• 1 Year of work experienced preferred.WORKING CONDITIONS• Temperature controlled warehouse• Will be required to lift, carry, or otherwise move up to 30 lbs.• Follow proper moving and lifting procedures• Regularly required to stand, walk• Safety Shoes Required Lace-up only styles: no pull-ups or loafer-styles Steel toe Metatarsal protection not required Athletic styles are acceptable Waterproof/oil resistant not required High slip resistance preferred We will also ask when the person arrives, there will be a 1 day leniency policy to comply or the person will be asked to leave.ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS• Max Pay Rate: per hour• Bonus at completion of 90-Days worked o without performance issue o No unexcused absences o Acceptance of client Full Time Position Offer Phlebotomist, Phlebotomy, Phlebotomist Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Mobile Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, Technician, Certified Phlebotomy Technician
