Job Description
Power Line Supply is seeking to hire a full-time Logistics & Inventory Manager to join our growing team!
As a Logistics & Inventory Manager, your role is responsible for overseeing the efficient management of inventory, warehousing, and distribution operations. This role ensures accurate stock levels, timely delivery of goods, and cost-effective logistics processes while maintaining high standards of organization and compliance.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage and oversee daily logistics and relevant inventory operations.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure accurate stock locations to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Develop, implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and transportation providers.
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
- Conduct scheduled audits and cycle counts.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Lead, train, and oversee shipping and logistics staff.
- Manage budgets and control logistics-related costs.
Qualifications:
- 3-7+ years of experience in logistics, inventory management, or operations roles.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
