Job Description
Logistics Coordinator- 1st and 2nd Shift1st Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm2nd Shift: 3:00pm-11:30pmHourly Rate: $25-$26.50Overview: - Supports daily warehouse operations by managing shipping and receiving transactions, verifying inventory and documentation, and coordinating freight movement. This role works closely with warehouse teams, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure shipments are accurate, on time, and handled safely.Job Duties:- Process inbound receiving and outbound shipping transactions in the WMS.- Verify freight, inventory, and paperwork against packing lists, bills of lading, and manifests.- Coordinate cross-dock operations with warehouse teams, carriers, and 3PL providers.- Resolve shipping discrepancies, damaged freight, and system issues.- Maintain accurate shipping records, digital documentation, and photos of damaged or non-compliant shipments.- Monitor warehouse and dock activity to ensure efficient and safe operations.- Follow all safety procedures and assist with overtime or weekend coverage as needed.Job Requirements: - High school diploma or GED required.- 2+ years of warehouse, logistics, transportation, or cross-dock experience.- Experience with WMS; Körber preferred.- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.- Knowledge of shipping documents and experience working with carriers and 3PL providers.- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and around moving equipment.Why Advance Services?- Weekly pay- Safety & attendance incentives- Opportunities with top local companiesApply today!
