Job Description

STS Technical Services is actively seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team onsite in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you’ll help streamline communication between production, sales, and distribution to maintain a responsive, accurate, and efficient supply chain.

Position Responsibilities

Report daily shipments to scheduling and accounting departments
Review all emails regarding shipments, freight quotes, and any quality-related issues
Coordinate daily schedules with all departments to ensure timeline accuracy
Generate all necessary paperwork and labels for job folders
Receive and label all incoming generators, parts, and UPS orders with the correct job numbers
Evaluate current freight vendors and identify new vendors that meet company standards
Manage freight requests and communicate quotes to sales personnel
Verify generator receiving dates and notify sales and scheduling of any discrepancies
Assist with cross-functional tasks to support shipping, receiving, and production deadlines
Uphold safety standards and promote accountability across the team

Position Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or a related supply chain role
Strong background in invoicing, order processing, and driver paperwork management
Working knowledge of supply chain operations and best practices
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments
