Job Description
The O'Quinn Schools of Porter-Gaud serve a 600 preschool students from age two through kindergarten on two campuses (Mount Pleasant & James Island). O'Quinn is seeking two. dedicated Long Term Substitutes for 4k & 3k at the James Island Campus for an assignment to begin immediately and last until approximately 6 weeks from now.
Duties include:
- Implementing lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher.
- Maintaining a safe and positive classroom environment
- Managing student behavior
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members
- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Ability to adapt to various classroom environments and teaching styles
