Lot Technician (Wash/Yard Tech)
$2,000 Signing Bonus | Construction Equipment
Position Overview:

As a Lot Technician (Wash/Yard Tech), you play a vital role in supporting our equipment operations by keeping the yard organized, equipment clean, and processes efficient. Your work ensures our customers receive equipment in top condition and are ready to go.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash/Yard & Equipment Prep
- Wash and detail construction equipment before delivery or display
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and shop area
- Perform basic pre-inspections and light maintenance on equipment
- Assist with moving and staging machinery safely using forklifts and cranes
Warehouse & Inventory Support
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and checking in equipment or parts
- Pull, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or shipment
- Sort, label, and store parts/materials following company standards
- Open containers, crates, and prepare parcels for mailing
General Shop Duties
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times
- Support other departments when needed, based on workload
- Wear and maintain required safety gear and follow all safety protocols
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of related experience in warehouse, yard, or shop roles preferred
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes (or willingness to learn)
- Basic mechanical knowledge and equipment handling skills
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Physical Demands:
- Able to lift 50+ lbs frequently
- Walk, bend, and work on uneven terrain and in various weather conditions
- Climb in and out of equipment; operate tools and machinery
- Sit, stand, and move between indoor/outdoor shop and yard areas
- Use hands/arms for handling tools, controls, and equipment
