Location: Eastern New Mexico Medical Center 405 West Country Club Road, Roswell, NM 88201
Shift Options:
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
$1,350 - $1,450 per week
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
No Call required
Scrubs: Royal Blue
EMR: Cerner, Mindray Telemetry System

Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care and support in a MedSurg environment.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses effectively.
Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
Educate patients and families on health management and care.
Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.
Support a positive team environment focused on achieving targets.
Experience/Qualifications
Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Experience in MedSurg nursing preferred.
Ability to monitor and interpret vital signs accurately.
Willingness to engage in performance improvement initiatives.
Strong communication skills for patient and team interactions.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a healthcare team.
Knowledge of safety and health regulations in patient care.
Ability to educate patients and families on health management.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
