Job Description
Position Summary:
Provides direct nursing care to residents, coordinates treatment plans and ensures compliance with medical and facility standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Conduct assessments and document residents' conditions.
- Communicate with physicians, residents and families.
- Monitor and report changes in health status.
- Supervise CNAs and provide clinical guidance.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection control policies.
Qualifications and Licensing Requirements:
- Active RN license in Iowa required.
- Experience in long-term care preferred.
- Strong clinical and communication skills
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs. Exposure to healthcare environments and infection control standards.
