Job Description

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist to work at a Facility in Las Cruces, NM. These are registry positions with our company.Pay Rate: $55 / hourJob Details:

Nights 6p to 6a
6 weeks contract with strong potential of extension

Minimum Qualifications:

At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
A valid and current license issued by the state of NM
A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.
RT (CRT) must be certified

Job Responsibilities:

Assess patients with breathing and lung problems
Provide breathing treatments and oxygen therapy
Operate and monitor ventilators and respiratory equipment
Perform breathing tests and monitor lung function
Assist with airway management and suctioning
Monitor patient condition and response to treatment
Educate patients on breathing exercises and inhaler use
Respond to respiratory emergencies
Document treatments and patient progress
Work with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff
