Job Description: Lube Technician

Pay Range: $32-$36 an hour

Responsibilities

• Required to operate and inspect equipment and vehicles to check fluid levels, greasing and preventative maintenance services
• Safety First - Must be responsible for your own safety and follow all company guidelines and procedures
• Perform all preventative maintenance services per maintenance manual in a safe and timely manner
• Obtain all required fluid/oil samples and submit all fluid/oil samples to the Lab electronically
• Record all preventative maintenance services on the daily timecard
• Communicate any equipment maintenance issues to your supervisor in a timely manner
• Maintain the company lube truck and operate it in a safe manner
• Must come to work on time and ready to work daily

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated
• Able to climb in, on and around equipment, be flexible in awkward positions
• Possess the ability to read and understand equipment maintenance manuals
• Must be responsible, reliable and willing to work in all weather conditions
• Need to have excellent communication skills, good work ethics and a positive attitude
• Must be able to work any shift and weekends as equipment is available for service

Experience/Skills

• Technical experience preferred, training available
• Mechanical knowledge of equipment a plus
• Class A CDL a must
• Basic computer knowledge
