Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently assemble/test mechanical pumps to meet customer requirements in an AS9100 manufacturing environment.
- Work with mechanical components, single hydraulic systems, and multiple part numbers in a test room environment requiring PPE.
- Perform moderate to complex assembly/test functions using mechanical skills, hand and power tools, test equipment, and inspection measurement equipment.
- Identify malfunctions disclosed by test data and rework as instructed.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on test equipment.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives.
- Perform lockwiring, first-stage subassembly, and/or final detailing functions as needed.
- Participate in lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Observe all safety rules, 5S practices, and maintain a FOD-free work area.
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated according to the calibration schedule.
- Assist in training less experienced team members.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Two or more years of industry-related experience in assembly/testing in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred aerospace/automotive mechanic or manufacturing experience.
- Demonstrated product and process knowledge.
- Strong mechanical reasoning skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic mathematical skills and effective verbal, written, and computer skills.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
