Lumber Yard Supervisor Location: Delaware County Supply, Boothwyn, PA
Are you a natural leader with hands-on experience in a lumber yard and a passion for helping customers and contractors find the right materials? Delaware County Supply, a trusted leader in architectural building materials, is looking for a Lumber Yard Supervisor to join and lead our yard operations team.

Requirements
What You Bring:
- Prior supervisory experience in a lumber yard or building materials yard
- Strong understanding of lumber, windows, doors, and millwork products
- Experience with forklifts and yard operations equipment
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage a dynamic team
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 100 lbs.)
- Willingness to work outdoors year-round and participate in a Saturday rotation
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee daily lumber yard operations, ensuring efficient workflows and top-notch customer service
- Supervise, train, and schedule yard team members
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and organization
- Assist customers, builders, and contractors with expert knowledge of building materials and product availability
- Ensure safety protocols and equipment maintenance are consistently followed
- Operate forklifts, saws, and other yard equipment as needed
- Work directly with the inside sales team to coordinate deliveries and stock levels
- Lead by example in both customer service and hands-on yard work
- Hours for this position are Monday through Friday 7:30am -5pm, and a 1/2 day on Saturday rotation.
