Job Description

Sea Mar Community Health Centers, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) founded in 1978, is a community-based organization committed to providing quality, comprehensive health, human, housing, educational and cultural services to diverse communities, specializing in service to Latinos in Washington State. Medical Assistant Supervisor

The Medical Assistant Supervisor is a clinical leadership role responsible for supervising and supporting medical assistants and related care team staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Working closely with the Nurse Manager, this role oversees daily clinic operations, patient flow, clinical quality measures, staff performance, and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and evaluate medical assistants and clinical support staff
  • Ensure clinical quality measures, infection control, and regulatory standards are met
  • Support patient flow and provider productivity (18-21 patients per provider/day)
  • Manage staffing schedules, huddles, referrals, phone messages, and patient grievances
  • Assist with clinical care, procedures, injections, and patient assessments as needed
  • Monitor performance metrics, conduct audits, and support quality improvement efforts
  • Promote excellent customer service using the AIDET model

Qualifications:

  • Active MA-C license or LPN license in Washington State
  • Minimum 2 years ambulatory care experience; supervisory experience required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days of hire)

Fast-paced outpatient setting. May require occasional travel to other clinic locations.

Work Schedule: Monday- Friday (Can be edited based on need)

Hourly- Hourly Plan, 27.34 USD Hourly
