Join a local food production manufacturer specializing in all-natural salsas, dips, and chips, located in Eugene, OR, as a Machine and Warehouse Operator and contribute to creating high-quality organic food products.As a Machine and Warehouse Operator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring production flows smoothly by coordinating various tasks and working closely with your team. What Youll Do:As a Machine and Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the production of cardboard boxes and packaging for outbound shipments.
- Operating an electric pallet jack or sit-down forklift (training provided) to load product pallets onto trucks for shipment.
- Performing general clean-up of the production line and workspace.
- Breaking down and cleaning machinery, including daily soap scrubbing and rinsing of equipment.
- Maintaining cleanliness of floors through daily washing and monthly deep cleaning using bleach sanitation.
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a team-player mindset with a willingness to learn and support team efforts.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a larger team.
- Commitment to following GMPs and Food Safety Regulations.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs as necessary.
- A desire to receive forklift training to assist with loading outbound trucks (previous forklift experience is a plus, but not required).
