Job Description
Machine Maintenance Technician (Industrial) – 2 Openings
? Streetsboro, OH? $27–$30/hour (DOE)? Direct Hire Opportunity
We are expanding and hiring 2 Machine Maintenance Technicians to support our growing operation! This is a hands-on role working with industrial production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Available Shifts
1st Shift:
- Monday – Friday
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Night Shift (12-Hour):
- 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Schedule: 3 days on / 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days off
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventative, diagnostic, and emergency maintenance
- Install and maintain production equipment (mixers, bagging machines, pelletizers)
- Service plant systems including hoppers, lifts, vacuum loaders, and chutes
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report issues
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
- Replace components such as motors, pumps, and valves
- Maintain proper inventory of maintenance parts
- Work safely in environments involving heights or confined spaces
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong skills in:
- Mechanical systems
- Electrical (up to 480V)
- Hydraulics & pneumatics
- Welding (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Self-starter with a preventative maintenance mindset
Work Environment
- Industrial manufacturing setting (plastics production)
- PPE provided (ear plugs, safety glasses)
- Dress code: jeans, t-shirt, steel toe boots
