Job Title: Machine Operator – 2nd ShiftLocation: St. Peter, MNCompensation: $18.00–$20.00 per hour – paid weeklySchedule: 2nd Shift | 4:00 PM–4:30 AMJob Type: Temp | Full-timeAbout the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Machine Operator workers for a food production company in St. Peter, MN. In this role, you’ll operate and monitor packaging equipment to support efficient, high-quality food production in a safety-focused environment. Read below for more information!What You’ll Do as a Machine Operator:

• Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust packaging machines to meet quality and efficiency standards
• Perform start-ups, changeovers, shutdowns, and film roll changes
• Inspect equipment, troubleshoot issues, and make mechanical adjustments as needed
• Handle raw materials, including weight adjustments and material movement
• Complete production documentation accurately and record key data
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and organization of the work area
• Communicate equipment issues and improvement ideas with maintenance and supervision

What You Need to Bring to the Machine Operator Role:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of machine operator experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience with production equipment
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (3 days one week, 4 days the next) with occasional overtime
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, walk, bend, push, and pull for 12-hour shifts
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified within the first 14 days
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English, including technical instructions
