Join a growing manufacturing company in Eugene, Oregon, as a Machine Operator and make an impact every day.As a Machine Operator, youll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly and efficiently. Youll work closely with the production team to ensure quality standards are met while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.What You'll Do: As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Operating and monitoring plastic manufacturing machinery to ensure efficient output.
- Setting up equipment and making adjustments as needed during production runs.
- Inspecting products to ensure quality and consistency standards are met and reporting machine malfunctions to your supervisor or machine lead.
- Reviewing job information to verify part number, quantity, and other job details.
- Ensuring box labels match job specifications.
- Transferring products throughout the warehouse.
- Assembling boxes for the assigned job and properly stacking products on pallets.
- Completing Production Verification sheets at the start and end of shifts and submitting them to the shift supervisor.
- Following all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or factory-related experience
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment quickly
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Training in general safety
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Openings on Day, Swing, or Graveyard shifts
