MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Columbus NE 68601 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $22.70/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Alternating days schedule
- Overtime and weekend availability may be required based on production needs
MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating production equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards and meeting production goals. Candidates should be comfortable working in a team environment, performing inspections, completing documentation, and troubleshooting basic equipment issues.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform visual inspections and quality checks
- Complete changeovers, cleaning, and line clearances
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Maintain production and quality goals
- Perform SAP and MES data entry tasks
- Support packaging, labeling, assembling, and inspection processes
- Maintain GMP and safety compliance standards
- Assist with rework and continuous improvement efforts
- Cross-train within the department as needed
- Keep work areas clean and organized
MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Manufacturing experience required
- Experience with SAP, MES, or precision measuring tools is a plus
- Ability to read and understand written instructions in English
- Basic math and problem-solving skills required
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when needed
