MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Columbus NE 68601 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $22.70/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time 3rd Shift (12:00 AM – 8:00 AM)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday; must be flexible for weekend overtime as requested.
MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Machine Operator will be responsible for the safe operation of production equipment, performing routine quality checks, and conducting basic troubleshooting to ensure products meet strict manufacturing standards. This role focuses on maintaining continuous production flow through efficient changeovers, accurate SAP data entry, and collaborative teamwork during a 12-hour night shift.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate production machinery and ensure continuous operation through breaks to meet production goals.
- Quality Control: Perform visual inspections and quality checks using precision instruments (calipers, gauges, or microscopes) to ensure compliance with GMP and FDA standards.
- Production Support: Perform line clearances, equipment changeovers, and routine cleaning/sanitizing of work areas.
- Data Entry: Accurately complete SAP and MES data entries and maintain production logs.
- Team Collaboration: Work within a team to move raw materials, clean/sanitize work areas, and participate in continuous improvement "blitz" teams.
MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, specifically with precision measuring tools or MES/SAP systems.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English specifications and perform basic math calculations.
