Job Description
Hiring Immediately!Job Title: Kitting Machine OperatorPay: $21/hrSchedule: Monday- Friday, 6:00am- 2:30pm Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor kitting and packaging machinery.*
- Set up machines and changeovers between shifts and product batches.*
- Load raw materials into packaging machines, baggers, and label printers.*
- Calibrate and clean machines before production.*
- Adjust machine settings, including speed and labeling functions.*
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality.*
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical and quality issues.*
- Perform spot checks on finished products.*
- Document approved and defective units and maintain production logs.*
- Remove packaging waste and maintain a clean work area.*
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.*
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.*
- At least 1 year of machine operating experience preferred.*
- Forklift experience required; must be able to complete forklift training.*
- Ability to read work orders, instructions, and procedures.*
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.*
- Basic computer skills.*
- Ability to lift 40-50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 60 lbs.*
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete throughout the shift.*
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures.
