Machine Operator - Desb I

This position is responsible for the developing, etching, striping and bonding of printed circuit boards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop, Etch, Strip, Bond printed circuit boards.
• Knowledge of the chemicals utilized in the DESB department and the safety precautions to follow.           
• Follow all short sheets, standard operating procedures and company regulations.   
• Work safely to prevent injuries and follow all safety regulations knowledge of the DESB line.                 
• May be required to cross train in other departments.
• Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.
• This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and follow all short sheets/customer documents.
• Basic Computer experience - Microsoft Office-Outlook/Word/Excel.        
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills and ability/flexibility to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to work standing for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely.                                     
• 2+ years PCB experience a plus.                                                       
• Hazardous waste handling a plus.      
• Prior DES experience preferred.
• Experience in other areas a plus.
