Job Description
This position is responsible for the developing, etching, striping and bonding of printed circuit boards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop, Etch, Strip, Bond printed circuit boards.
- Knowledge of the chemicals utilized in the DESB department and the safety precautions to follow.
- Follow all short sheets, standard operating procedures and company regulations.
- Work safely to prevent injuries and follow all safety regulations knowledge of the DESB line.
- May be required to cross train in other departments.
- Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.
- This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and follow all short sheets/customer documents.
- Basic Computer experience - Microsoft Office-Outlook/Word/Excel.
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills and ability/flexibility to work in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to work with limited supervision.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Ability to work standing for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely.
- 2+ years PCB experience a plus.
- Hazardous waste handling a plus.
- Prior DES experience preferred.
- Experience in other areas a plus.
