Machine Operator Position Summary:The Extrusion Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting plastic extrusion equipment to ensure quality production and efficient manufacturing operations. The role requires maintaining production standards, performing quality checks, and ensuring a safe work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate extrusion machinery and auxiliary equipment.
- Monitor product quality and make process adjustments as needed.
- Perform routine measurements, inspections, and quality checks.
- Complete production reports and maintain accurate records.
- Troubleshoot equipment and production issues.
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with preventive maintenance and changeovers.
- Previous manufacturing or extrusion experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and specifications.
- Experience using measuring tools and quality equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a production environment.
