Job Description

Job Title: Machine OperatorLocation: Milford, IACompensation: $19.50-$20.50 per hour - paid weeklySchedule: 1st Shift | 6:00am-2:30pm | Monday-FridayJob Type: Temporary or Temp-to-hireAbout the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Machine Operators for a leading manufacturing company located in Milford, IA.   • Operate and set up machines according to job specifications
  • Work with fabrication equipment such as CNC machines, brake presses, lasers, and saws
  • Perform quality checks on first articles and throughout production
  • Monitor equipment and materials to identify defects or issues
  • Enter production metrics to track output, quality, and downtime
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate to minimize disruptions
  • Train and support team members within areas of expertise
  • Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures
What You Need to Bring to the Machine Operator Role:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Read and interpret blueprints and detailed work instructions
  • Use measuring tools and read a tape measure accurately
  • Apply basic math skills for calculations and measurements
  • Utilize basic computer skills for data entry and systems
  • Possess 1 to 2 years of manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods
