Machine Operator - 2Nd Shift

Job Title: Machine OperatorLocation: Worthington, MNCompensation: $17.00-$19.00 per hour - paid weeklySchedule: 2nd ShiftJob Type: Temporary or Temp-to-hireAbout the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Machine Operators for a leading recycled poly lumber and plastic lumber manufacturer located in Worthington, MN. • Set up and operate production equipment according to job specifications and established production processes
• Install, change, and rotate tooling and molds as required for each production run
• Monitor machine performance and make setting adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
• Inspect finished products regularly to ensure they meet quality and specification standards
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment during operation
• Handle materials and products by removing, stacking, transporting, and storing finished goods and unused tooling
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate more complex problems as needed
• Accurately record production data, timekeeping information, and follow all safety policies and procedures

What You Need to Bring to the Machine Operator Role:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate equipment and identify operational issues
• Ability to use measuring tools to verify product sizes and specifications
• Basic computer and record-keeping skills
• Ability to obtain certification to operate material handling equipment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to follow established procedures, safety rules, and production guidelines
