Job Description

Job Title: Machine Operator Location: Alexandria, MNCompensation: $20.00 per hour - paid weekly Schedule: 3rd Shift Job Type: Temp-to-hireAbout the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Machine Operators for a leading manufacturing company located in Alexandria, MN. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as a Machine Operator:

Efficiently and accurately read and follow work instructions
Operate the press to produce molded parts
Follow Operator Instructions for the specific part criteria including performing quality checks and any required SPC as directed by the team leader
Visually inspect each molded part
Clip and trim molded parts
Pack molded parts in boxes
Advise the next operator of any information about press or molded parts
Follow all safety guidelines and rules
Maintain a clean and organized work area

What You Need to Bring to the Machine Operator Role:

High school diploma or GED preferred
Good mechanical ability and attention to detail
Ability to learn quickly
Good math skills
Prior manufacturing experience preferred
Accepting entry level candidates – no experience required
Ability to lift up to 45 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
