Job Title: Machine OperatorLocation: North Kingstown, RI 02852Duration: 06 Months2 ^nd Shift: Mon-Fri 2:55pm - 10:55pmPosition Summary:Machine Operator will operate various card production equipment to personalize debit/credit cards according to customers specifications. Work with other operators, technicians, and supervisory staff to achieve daily/monthly goals. Perform minor equipment maintenance and adjustments per written and oral instructions. Work independently, performing quality inspections on own work according to production standards. Identify potential production and quality problems, recommending remedial, corrective or contingency action. Awareness and compliance with all security and production policies & procedures.Responsibilities: Must be able to work in a high-paced environmentOperate card production equipment and perform related activitiesConfirm work receiptFormulate and implement work priority decisionsExceed production output and quality standardsPerform minor equipment maintenance and adjustments per written and oral instructionsWork independently, performing quality inspections on own work to production standardsMaintain a clean and orderly work areaIdentify potential production and quality problems; recommending remedial, corrective or contingency actionWork with other operators, technicians and supervisory staff to assist with problems and to an effective work environmentAwareness and compliance with all security and production policies/proceduresMust possess basic computer skillsMaintain housekeeping standards of workstationOrder supplies as neededAttend appropriate training and meetings as requiredMeet safety standardsQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent experienceBasic computer skillsBasic math skills requiredGood communication skills in both written and verbalStrong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilitiesAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formAbility to establish credibility and be decisive but able to recognize and support the organization s preferences and prioritiesPreferred Qualifications:1-3 years experience in mechanical ability1-3 years experience in safety rules and maintenance instructionsIntermediate computer skillsPhysical Demands:Required to be standing and operating a machine 6 hours a day
