Machine Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring production machinery while ensuring quality standards, safety protocols, and production goals are met. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment according to production specifications.
• Load raw materials into machines and remove finished products.
• Perform routine machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Complete production reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Identify machine malfunctions and notify maintenance when repairs are needed.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and keep equipment clean.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
• Ability to read work orders, blueprints, or production instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, or tape measures is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Willingness to work overtime or different shifts as needed.
