About The Opportunity

As a Machine Operator, you will operator and monitor equipment used in the production and handling of corrugated paperboard products. Some potential responsibilities include running automated strapping systems to secure units, operating folder-gluer machines for efficient material production, and tending baler machines to compress and bind scrap for easy handling. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor machines such as folder-gluers, laminators, unitizers, and balers to ensure efficient production and material handling

  • Read and follow production orders, set up machines, and make adjustments to meet customer specifications

  • Perform quality checks, troubleshoot issues and maintain high efficiency according to established standards

  • Handle scrap and finished products, including strapping, compressing and moving materials safely

  • Keep an accurate record of production and equipment performance

  • Collaborated with team members and other departments to improve quality and performance

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to company safety and GMP guidelines

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required

  • Ability to work in a production environment with moving equipment and rotating shifts

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

  • Team player with good communication skills

  • Ability to lift and move materials and work at various heights

  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed

Shifts: We are currently looking for individuals to work a 12-hour, 2-2-3 scheduled on nights or an 8-hour schedule on 2nd or 3rd shift.
