Job Description

National Ramp is seeking a reliable and skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the production of our accessibility ramps and related products, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to safety standards.

The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining efficient production schedules while upholding National Ramp’s commitment to quality, innovation, and care for our customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain manufacturing machines according to specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor machine performance and product quality during the production process.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance to prevent machine downtime.
  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major problems to maintenance staff.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and quality goals.
  • Keep accurate records of machine operation and production output.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience operating saws, presses, and performing manufacturing assembly required.
  • Experience troubleshooting minor mechanical issues on manufacturing machinery.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Able to work on-site in Valley Cottage, NY.

Salary: The salary range for this position, based in Valley Cottage, NY, is $19-$22 per hour, plus incentives. The final salary will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
