Job Description
CNC Machine OperatorJob SummaryWe are looking for a CNC Machine Operator to join our team in a fast-paced production environment. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC routers, saws, banders, or drills to produce quality parts while following company safety and quality standards.Responsibilities
- Read work orders, blueprints, and product specifications to understand job requirements
- Set up CNC machines with the correct tooling and settings
- Load and unload materials and operate machines efficiently
- Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet quality standards
- Measure finished parts using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and report machine issues to supervisors
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Assist with other shop duties as needed
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
- Experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, etc.)
- Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
