Position Details

Role: Machine Operator – Food Production

Pay Rate

$18–$20 per hour

Job Responsibilities

Operate and monitor food packaging machinery

Load ingredients and production materials according to specifications

Assist with machine setup and adjustments

Monitor product flow and machine performance during production

Operate packaging equipment, including Multivac, sealing, and vacuum-packaging systems

Perform cleaning and sanitation according to GMP and SSOP requirements

Identify and report equipment or production issues

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • Previous food manufacturing experience preferred • Experience operating food-production or packaging equipment preferred • Experience with Multivac, sealing machines, or vacuum-packaging equipment highly valued • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Comfortable working around heat for short periods • Basic computer skills • PLC or SAP knowledge is a plus • Ability to follow production, sanitation, and safety procedures • Strong attention to detail
