Machine Operator I

Manager feedback:Candidates with bachelor's degrees are overqualified. While I will agree that they would be capable of doing the job, this entry level position is basically packing boxes and palletizing product. I see anyone with a college degree as an immediate potential flight risk should something in their field or for more compensation come along. I am trying to fill these positions long term with the company and want candidates that are going to stick around long term.

PAY RATE: /hour (Includes 15% shift diff)SHIFT: 11:00pm-7:30AMpmWORKSITE: Londonderry, NH (100% onsite only)DURATION: Initially three months, with the potential for converting to a FTE based on business need, budget approval and performance.INTERVIEW PROCESS: In-person onsite interview

Required education: High school graduate or equivalent.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor functions of equipment and operate per documented procedures including maintaining operational logbooks
• Provide technicians with symptoms of equipment failures, when required
• Support material handling as necessary
• Maintain segregation of materials and lot and or receiving numbers
• Maintain area in a clean and orderly condition
• Adhere to and demonstrate compliance to all company and department standard operating procedures including but not limited to: GMP, device history record, hazard communication and safety rules
• Utilize written procedures and training to accomplish tasks noted above
• Accept full accountability for product quality
• Report to supervisor or management unsolved problems encountered during the workday
• Maintain complete and accurate records of work-in-process, component inventories and relative documentation
• Under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Machine Operator will ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing equipment according to established specifications, and standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• An operator must demonstrate steady progress in learning all equipment and jobs in the assigned manufacturing area.
• He and or she must also exhibit the ability to follow instructions of supervisor while observing the quality of raw and finished goods before, during and after production.

OTHER INFORMATION:

• Candidate must be able to stand to package and label product.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the production line. Candidate will not be responsible to run or operate the production line.
• Support material handling as necessary. Does not required use of forklift or power jack.
• Lifting/moving and carrying products weighing up to 20 pounds
• Candidate supporting a closed production line. No physical contact with hazardous materials or chemicals.
• Safety glasses, hair nets and gloves provided. Candidate must provide steel or composite shoes/boots.
• Must be able to adhere to shift start times and with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Prior manufacturing experience not required. Training will be provided.
