Machine Operator Become a key part of a high-performing team in Grand Island, NE as a Machine Operator where youll run essential equipment to process custom pipe and metal parts with precision, supporting the critical needs of industrial clients.Job Duties:
- Start and stop the machine safely without supervision. *
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed) Place raw material or unfinished parts and remove finished parts from machine safely. *
- Monitor machine operation. *
- Check part quality with designated measurement instruments. *
- Understand when and how to stop machine safely. *
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on machinery, such as cleaning and lubrication.*
- Operate tools and machinery to aid the manufacturing process. *
- Perform periodic checks on equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise.*
- Oversee the machine while executing tasks and make necessary adjustments to improve results. *
- Produce quality parts according to manufacturing targets and schedules as directed by the Plant Manager. *
- Record all machine actions and log completed parts for record keeping. *
- Read and understand drawings. *
- Change machine Setting to accommodate different sizes and dimensions.
