You'll work closely with experienced team members to develop your skills in machine operation, quality control, and maintenance.What Youll DoAs a Web Press Operator Trainee, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the setup and operation of multi-color printing presses*
- Reading job tickets to understand specific printing requirements*
- Confirming stock availability and preparing inks and chemicals*
- Monitoring press operations and making minor adjustments as needed*
- Performing routine cleaning and small maintenance tasks*
- Ensuring product quality through self-inspection and adjustments*
- Logging production data and tracking job progress accurately*
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in machinery*
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions*
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks*
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred*
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills*
- Previous experience with mechanical systems or hobbies related to mechanics is a plus
