Job Description

Machine Repair Technician - Novi, Michigan Contract position through Dec. 2026 Pay Rate: up to $25.00 per hour (based on proven work history)Duties of the Machine Repair Technician:
  • Maintain, install, and repair a variety of machine tools and equipment
  • Tear down damaged or defective units
  • May replace or repair worn or damaged parts or components and reassemble
  • May perform some machining on replacement parts or may do electrical troubleshooting and repairs on CNC, manual, or other plant machines
  • Perform preventative maintenance on building equipment, machines, mobile equipment
  • Assists Machine Repair and Mobile Equipment Mechanic as necessary
  • May perform minor building maintenance but not limited to: Light Electrical, Plumbing, Cement Work, etc.
Requirements of the Machine Repair Technician:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience with: MACHINE TOOL MAINTENANCE, MACHINE TOOL INSTALLATION, MACHINE TOOL REPAIR, ELECTRICAL TROUBLESHOOTING, CNC MACHINE REPAIR
  • Additional experience with the following is required: PLUMBING, MANUAL MACHINE REPAIR, PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE, BUILDING EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE, MOBILE EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE, LIGHT ELECTRICAL WORK, CEMENT WORK, ETC.
