Machine Shop HelperPay:$15.00 per hourLocation:Tulsa, OK 74115Shift:Day ShiftJob Type:Temp-to-HireJob Order #:125411Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Machine Shop Helper to support daily machining and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience and develop the skills needed to grow into CNC Machinist or Machine Operator roles.The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.Required Experience & Skills Previous manufacturing or machine shop experience is a plus Ability to read basic measurements and follow written and verbal instructions Comfortable using hand tools and basic measuring equipment Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Good communication and teamwork skills Reliable attendance and strong work ethicEssential Duties & Responsibilities Assist machinists with machine setup, operation, and teardown on CNC and manual equipment Load and unload raw materials and finished parts Perform basic deburring, sanding, cleaning, and finishing of machined parts Measure parts using tape measures, calipers, gauges, and other basic measuring tools Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations throughout the shop Transport materials and components between work areas Follow work instructions, blueprints, and company safety procedures Monitor machine operations and report equipment concerns to supervisors Assist with preventative maintenance and general shop upkeep Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment Perform additional shop support duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications Previous experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment Mechanical aptitude and interest in machining or manufacturing careers Experience using basic measuring tools and hand tools Familiarity with blueprint reading is a plusPhysical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods (8 12 hours) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and material handling Ability to safely work around industrial machinery and equipmentWork Environment Manufacturing and machine shop environment Exposure to machinery, metal materials, noise, and production equipment Fast-paced workplace focused on safety, quality, and teamwork Required PPE must be worn at all times as designated by company policyWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Excellent entry point into machining and manufacturing careers Opportunity to learn from experienced machinists Stable first-shift schedule Hands-on work with opportunities for advancement Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity with career growth potentialReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PM
